Strawberries

Strawberries

Strawberries are easy to combine with other berries. When selecting your strawberry, look for symmetrically shaped berries with a brilliant sheen and rich, intense red colour.

It’s important to treat your strawberries with care. Berries are best kept chilled in the original packaging. Gently rinse berries with the green caps still on, under cool water. After washing, remove the green caps. Allowing strawberries to reach room temperature before serving will enhance their natural flavours.

Raspberries

Raspberries

Raspberries are packed with vitamin C and other nutrients. Besides this, Driscoll’s unique raspberries are known for their exceptional shelf-life.

Raspberries are highly perishable, and also extremely fragile. However, a proper handling will ensure that your raspberries remain fresh and delicious. Under ideal conditions, raspberries should keep for 1-2 days in your refrigerator. For best results, Driscoll’s recommends that you keep your raspberries dry in storage and consume them as soon as possible after purchase.

A few of our unique varieties: Driscoll Maravilla, Driscoll Cardinal, Driscoll Sevillana, Driscoll® Ambrosia™ and Driscoll® Carmina™. Driscoll’s raspberries really stand out and can grow the berry category.

Driscoll’s unique blackberries are really something different: exceptionally sweet and with an impressive appearance.

Blackberries

Blackberries

Blackberries range in colour from deep blue/purple to deep purple/black. They are often two-tone in colour, which is perfectly natural and does not affect ripeness. For best results, Driscoll’s recommends that you refrigerate your blackberries and keep them dry in storage. Blackberries, like raspberries, are especially fragile. It is important to handle them gently.

At Driscoll’s we cross-pollinate by hand in a way that is similar to how plants propagate in nature to develop our proprietary varieties. This has resulted in beautiful and good tasting blackberries. Some of our unique varieties: Driscoll Carmel, Driscoll Eureka, Driscoll Cowles and Driscoll® King George™.
