About the vacancy

As an Office Assistant, you are part of the Office Team. You are a key figure in the company, the very first point of contact when people come in. Not only for guests, suppliers and customers, but also for colleagues. You enjoy relieving people and taking care of them. Within the office everything runs smoothly thanks to you. Besides the daily tasks around office, you also organize the internal events (such as the monthly drinks, family event, Sinterklaas and the Year End event). You enjoy organizing things and get energy from tackling all kinds of projects.


You will participate and continuously contribute to create a work environment that reflects the company culture & values and brings joy to work in the office. This project will be launched in 2024 and will be rolled out and integrated into your role.  


You are proactive, incisive and can work independently.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management of the company’s facilities
  • Propose changes and improvements based on observations of facilities
  • Liaise with facility suppliers and maintain a good communication and relationship.
  • Create and manage new vendor profiles
  • Answer emails in the general inboxes from customers, consumers & colleagues.
  • Handling incoming phone calls from customers, consumers & colleagues.
  • You are the first point of contact for visitors, customers, suppliers and employees to welcome them into the company.
  • Reception / registration of visitors
  • Organization of internal and external meetings, events and incentives for the Breda office
  • Coordinating travel (hotel, taxi’s, restaurants) for visitors.
  • General admin- / office management support
  • Coordination of the internal berry store


Candidate profile

  • You are fluent in Dutch & English (both written and spoken)
  • You have excellent decision-making skills and good time-management
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and high level of service
  • Very effective organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize workload
  • An outgoing and service oriented personality
  • Strong communicator verbal and in writing
  • Customer oriented
