In the role of Integrated Business Planning Manager EMEA, you have a pivotal role between the organization’s ambitions and aligning the activities to do so. In this role, you will be leading
IBP review sessions for the business’ long, medium- and short-term demand, supply and operations plan. You work with a cross-functional team of business leaders and process owners, leveraging best in class IBP principles, tools and methodologies. The position leads a team of Supply Chain Management professionals, across teams in supply & demand planning, master scheduling, crop forecasting and packaging planning, delivering performance using standard business processes and strategies. A good balance of technical, business, and leadership competencies are key. 

The role reports via the Supply Chain Director into EMEA’s management team together with Distribution, Transportation, Paperpack Production managers and several Project managers. Having a central role within the organization, the IBP Manager frequently connects with Sales and Operational managers across the DEMEA organization.

Responsibilities

In the role of IBP Manager you will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Executing, monitoring, and continually improving the IPB process (long, mid, short term) including IBP monthly reviews, integration and alignment of all involved functions, alignment with financial and budgeting processes.
  • Drive organizational adoption and acceptance of the IBP process by influencing and engaging with the relevant (internal) stakeholders (e.g. commercial teams & operations).
  • Oversee/lead the monthly planning reviews with all the cross-functional leaders and to ensure all inputs from stakeholders are collected and alignment sessions are held before review meetings.
  • Drive/sustain change within the organization through stakeholder management, developing/implementing organizational-wide training sessions and overseeing IBP processes and meetings.
  • Responsible to shape the Supply and Demand Planning strategies, capabilities and processes to improve IBP integration and performance.
  • Oversee process to consolidate IBP information to identify gaps and establish the agenda for the executive IBP process.
  • Lead the Executive Management Business Planning meeting.
  • Responsible for creating and monitoring cross-functional KPIs to ensure effective performance of IBP process, suggest and drive improvements where needed.
  • Facilitating the integration of new variety commercialization plan, customer planning, promotions and strategic initiatives into the IBP process, holding teams to account for their specific areas of responsibility making the above to a success for the entire organization.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure clarity of financials to support decision-making.
  • Lead continuous education processes after implementation to ensure broad organizational support and alignment towards IBP.
  • In addition to the functional responsibilities of the role, as a Driscoll’s people manager, you will accomplish work individually and through others while delivering on functional accountabilities.

Candidate profile

Education

  • Master’s / bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain or similar.
  • IBP Certification.
  • APICS certification like CSCP or CPIM.

Work experience

  • 10 years of successful and progressive scope of responsibility with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and/or S&OP experience.
  • Preferably experience in the fresh food industry / food industry.
  • Experience in international, matrix organizations.
  • Ability to work with different time zones.

Skills 

  • Authentic leader, direct communicator, able to build strong relationships across the company with all levels.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, expert level in Excel, Anaplan or other similar planning tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including management of expectations across a range of different stakeholder interests/priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influence skills including efficient collaboration, effective negotiation, timely conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving of difficult situations such as resource constraints, ambiguous/conflicting requirements, and other roadblocks.
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Fluent command of the English language, French/Spanish as a distinctive advantage.

  • Travel requirements (approx. 20% of the time to visit Driscoll’s locations).
  • European driver’s license.
